Slow-cooker Chicken for Quesadillas

  • 1 whole or 2 split chicken breasts
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/3 cup water
  • chili powder, onion powder, and cumin, to taste

Place chicken breasts and water in slow-cooker.  Sprinkle chicken with spices.  Pour salsa and tomatoes over the chicken.  Cook on low for 6 – 7 hours or until meat falls from bone.

Remove chicken from bone and shred.
